Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage zones
- Maintain strict temperature logs and adhere to food safety protocols
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines for cold environments
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods
- Basic forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to industrial Northwest Chicago location
- Flexible availability including overnight/weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
