Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with temperature-sensitive products
- Monitor inventory levels and perform cycle counts using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and USDA safety protocols
- Maintain sanitation standards for food-grade storage facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly in cold conditions
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
