Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold rooms (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate refrigeration systems and perform basic preventive maintenance
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Enforce strict sanitation protocols and HACCP compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and food handling
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent
