Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trailers and organize inventory
- Maintain precise temperature logs and monitor cold storage units (32°F-40°F) for compliance
- Sanitize equipment and work areas using industrial cleaning protocols
- Inspect products for quality and report discrepancies to shift supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and wear PPE (thermal gear, gloves, non-slip boots)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hour shifts
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including nights/weekends)
