Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload freight using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques
- Verify shipment accuracy against packing slips and inventory records
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse areas following OSHA safety protocols
- Operate material handling equipment safely and perform daily inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily productivity targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and inventory discrepancies to supervisors
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and communication skills for inventory documentation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
