Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize warehouse inventory, ensuring products are stored according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards and improve workflow.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Valid driver’s license (not always required, but a plus).
