Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize and rotate inventory following FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning of storage facilities and equipment
- Operate refrigeration systems and report maintenance needs
- Conduct inventory counts and discrepancies documentation
- Adhere to strict food safety and OSHA safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic math and computer literacy
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
