As a Cold Storage Worker, you will be responsible for the safe handling of temperature-sensitive goods, ensuring our supply chain remains seamless and compliant with all industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load, unload, and transport goods from trucks to storage areas and vice versa.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and temperature controls.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures below 35°F) for extended periods.
- Lifting: Physically capable of lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License required; Class B or CDL preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not mandatory.
- Requirements: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
