Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain proper storage temperatures within refrigerated units to ensure product integrity.
- Organize, stock, and rotate inventory in designated storage areas.
- Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for accurate shipment tracking and inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in cold environments (temperatures below 40°F).
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
