Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from the storage facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Monitor and record temperature logs for all storage units to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure freshness and integrity.
- Organize warehouse aisles and storage racks to maximize space efficiency and ensure safe passage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict sanitation protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, including labeling and palletizing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in extreme cold environments (below freezing).
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
