Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily activities of the part-time warehouse staff, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping functions.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Team Coordination: Schedule and direct part-time shifts, conduct briefings, and provide constructive feedback to ensure team productivity and morale.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the workflow and implement solutions to maximize throughput and minimize errors.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and ensure the proper functioning of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in reading pick lists, using RF scanners, and operating warehouse equipment.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a diverse team and handle conflict resolution professionally.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by business needs.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
