Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Accurately scan and verify inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and dock operations.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and traffic flow.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including shrink wrapping and palletizing, as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification (we offer paid training for qualified candidates).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
