Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and onto trailers safely and efficiently.
- Verify and inspect loads for damage and ensure accurate counts against packing slips.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory and operational needs.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to train qualified candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
