Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper documentation.
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment before and during shifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow strict safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory levels and operational needs.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; training provided for certified candidates.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (we can help with this).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems (SAP or similar experience is a plus).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
