Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving, locating, and verifying stock and materials in a variety of ways. You will ensure that products are stored correctly and that inventory levels are maintained efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts and update warehouse management systems accurately.
- Assist in the packing and shipping process, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and safety goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification within 30 days of employment.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
