Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory accurately to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment checks and safety briefings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not currently held.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
