Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move pallets, boxes, and inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks in accordance with safety protocols and shipping schedules.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Organize warehouse space to maximize storage capacity and ensure easy access to stock.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform basic inventory counts and record accurate data regarding stock levels.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina required to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends, as needed.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided upon hiring).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
