Job Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will work closely with inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and safety. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and committed to maintaining a high standard of operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking merchandise to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all materials are stored correctly.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily operations and meet production targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory counts.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to obtain forklift certification through our training program.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
