Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist in the processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Inventory Management: Participate in cycle counts and inventory organization to ensure stock accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience required; we provide the training you need.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in counting and documenting inventory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to understand safety instructions and coordinate with the team.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
