Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload materials from trailers and trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring aisles and dock areas are clear.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Accurately stock and retrieve inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification within 30 days of hire (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
