Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and relocate materials within the facility.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Accurately count and verify inventory to ensure stock levels match records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (we offer training for the right candidates).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid driver’s license (not always required, but a plus).
