Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator License (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- License: Valid Driver's License required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and accuracy in inventory handling.
