Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials in warehouse setting
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Load/untract trailers with proper weight distribution and securement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for safety and productivity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
