Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move palletized merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count stock items, ensuring accurate inventory levels in the warehouse system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper forklift operation and PPE usage.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment efficiently to meet daily targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness and report any mechanical issues.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including potential weekend shifts or overtime.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order picking.
- License (Preferred): Prior forklift certification is a plus, but we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
