Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely.
- Inventory Control: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
- Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure stock rotation (FIFO) is followed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, warehouse policies, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A or Class B) is highly preferred; willing to train entry-level candidates.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
