Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, stack, and organize inventory in the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, receiving, and shipping duties to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior forklift experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Communication: Basic math skills and ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
