The Role:
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. You will be responsible for retrieving products from the warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring accuracy in every order. This is an entry-level position that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Sort and stage pallets for loading onto delivery trucks efficiently.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates with no experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to operate handheld scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
