Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Load/unload trucks and containers using precision handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Assist in warehouse layout optimization and workflow improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Previous experience in warehouse/distribution environments preferred
