Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS systems and cycle counts
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Operate warehouse equipment following OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Prepare shipments for distribution and ensure proper packaging
- Contribute to 5S/lean initiatives for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- 1+ years warehouse or logistics experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Basic math and inventory tracking abilities
