Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company operating procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Assist in receiving, stacking, and organizing inventory in designated areas
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screening required
