Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Accurately receive, scan, and stage incoming inventory in warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to 5S principles
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle count procedures
- Train junior operators on safe material handling practices
Qualifications
- Valid California forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in reading warehouse layouts and interpreting shipping manifests
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy for WMS data entry
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
