Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Load/unload trucks with precision using pallet jacks and other machinery
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new hires on safe equipment operation practices
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification with at least 2 years of recent experience
- Proven ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
