Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate temperature logs and ensure the cold storage environment remains within safety specifications.
- Prepare and package orders according to customer specifications and pick lists.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (below freezing) for extended periods.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
