Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts and reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and 5S standards.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
