Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in temperature-controlled environments
- Manage inventory systems using RF scanners and warehouse management software
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks with precise temperature protocols
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct cycle counts
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA compliance standards for cold chain logistics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in cold environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Basic computer proficiency with inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
