Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Load/unload trucks with precision using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as directed
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Train new team members on safety procedures and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience in a distribution center
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends
