Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading dock operations
- Adhere to all safety policies and report hazards immediately
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
