Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas while adhering to inventory control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and potential safety hazards.
- Assist in the physical movement of goods and merchandise as required during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
