Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight onto and off of trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily inventory checks, stock replenishment, and ensure accurate organization of goods within the freezer.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, temperature control regulations, and OSHA guidelines.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold storage facility to prevent accidents and ensure operational efficiency.
- Shipping Support: Assist with labeling, sorting, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork and logs related to inventory movement and safety checks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments (32°F or lower) and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Training: Must be willing to complete our paid safety and operational training program.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
