Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Verify inventory counts and document material movements accurately
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces following OSHA and company standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle count activities
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to work in varied temperatures (warehouse/dock environments)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
