Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Load/unload trucks while verifying inventory accuracy
- Maintain organized warehouse layout and implement FIFO systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow
- Complete accurate documentation of inventory movements
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime/weekends
