Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trailers and freight trucks accurately, adhering to shipping labels and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts as directed.
- Keep the warehouse and work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for indoor forklifts, but standard for material handler roles).
