Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized goods in compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to maintain efficient workflow
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to 5S standards
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience with valid certification (OSHA/ITP)
- Proven ability to operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and reach trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g., hazardous materials handling)
