Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and dock environments
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and safety compliance checks
- Manage inventory movement between storage, production, and shipping areas
- Operate pallet jacks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
