Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues before and after each shift to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or valid license is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.
