Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate inventory movements and dock schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of all material movements
- Follow all safety protocols and report equipment issues or workplace hazards immediately
- Assist in warehouse organization and efficient space utilization
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
