Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Execute inventory control procedures using WMS technology
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety
- Train new operators on company safety protocols
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in material handling
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 3+ years experience in warehouse logistics operations
- Proficient in WMS inventory management systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong spatial awareness and depth perception
- Forklift endorsements for hazardous materials handling
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
