Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning systems and documentation
- Inspect and report equipment maintenance needs to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas efficiently
- Participate in regular safety training and equipment certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screening required
- Ability to work in varying climate conditions (non-temperature controlled areas)
