Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute inventory control procedures using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Maintain equipment through daily safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and operational best practices
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety regulations at all times
- Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (counterbalance and reach truck preferred)
- 3+ years experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour shifts including standing/walking
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate in temperature-controlled environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
