Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Organize warehouse inventory according to company standards and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations at all times
- Assist with warehouse cleanliness and proper waste disposal
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
